Training Women Well Program

The purpose of Training Women Well is to reach out to nurture and empower women by providing training in practical life skills.

Building up life skills in a safe and supportive environment will better equip women to make good choices in order to improve their everyday living. Each month two different topics are presented with a break for morning tea.

Each session is around 45 minutes with opportunities for interaction during the training. Topics include daily routine, personal hygiene, house keeping and decluttering, self care, budgeting, preparation for the workforce, clothing colour matching, knowing your body shape, applying makeup, healthy diet, cooking and more. Clients may also be referred to other Newlife Care programs and services or to external service providers, if appropriate.
