Community Services

Newlife Care is a registered non-profit charitable organisation. The founding ministry of Newlife Care was established by Rev John and Annette Tully. From these humble beginnings, we have now grown to a local mission organisation that works with, and offers support to our local community through seven different and engaging services.

Newlife Care has a small paid staff and over 170 volunteers who do whatever needs to be done to make sure we are serving our community with excellence. Without our band of engaged and committed volunteers, we would not be able to support the number of people we do.

Our services include Emergency Food Aid, an on-site Op Shop, Disability Service and Programs to serve those who are disadvantaged or doing it tough, such as Crisis Care and Princess for a Day.

People with physical and/or intellectual disabilities feel welcome and included in the community at our Crossroads Program. Crossroads offers an engaging program of social and interactive activities including live music and bands, and the opportunity to make friends or catch up with old pals over morning tea and lunch. Operating from our wheelchair accessible campus on Fridays, Crossroads is an inclusive, fun and safe place for everyone.

We offer support for those in our Church family and in our local community and we are about – “Empowering Local People for Local Good”. As we all serve together we say thank you for all your prayers, volunteer support and financial support.
