Newlife Care offers support to those in the community facing challenges in their personal, family and social lives. We understand that the pressures of living often affect the ability to provide well for oneself or loved ones, to enjoy life and achieve the full potential.
Since 1985 Newlife Care has been supporting the Gold Coast community by providing
- emergency food aid,
- a social engagement program for people with a disability, their families and carers,
- assistance to those who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness,
- a pampering service for ladies going through physical, emotional, mental or financial hardship, which involves an educational session to power women by providing training in practical life skills
- a service that reaches out to agency referred and other people coming out of difficult circumstances and after determining their need, assisting to connect with internal services and external service providers of our Gold Coast service provider network.
- a course that assists with financial budgeting, ‘CAP Money Course’.
- a project that supports refugees ‘The Welcome Home Project’.
- a Brisbane based program ‘Brisbane City Meals’ that provides warm meals to the homeless.
For many years a core service of the organisation was the counselling and psychology service, which was the first service established by the founders John & Annette Tully. While this service is no longer available, we are working with other counselling and psychology services on the Gold Coast, which enables our team to refer clients to such services.
Newlife Care is also a community development organisation, equipping and mobilising people to be catalysts for community change.
Our vision is to be Empowering Local People for Local Good.
At our Robina campus you can also access the Newlife Church, Newlife Care Op Shop and the Newlife Café. Newlife Care is a registered non-profit charitable organisation.
