Our volunteers start arriving at 6:30am to set up and prepare the food for the day. Other tasks include assisting with the registration process, serving food, clearing dishes and connecting with our participants. Volunteers then commence pack up which is usually finished by around 1:30pm.

    Street Care

Providing swags, emergency food and clothing for those in our community who are homeless.

We also visit one of the local caravan parks to provide additional support to the residents.  An energetic team of volunteers set up tables of donated food, clothing, useful household items and cook the BBQ. Volunteers engage with the residents and talk about life and the challenges and opportunities that brings.

The acceptance of the team by the local residents is a testament to their faith and desire to serve in any circumstances.

Please contact our Newlife Care office on 07 5593 3262 (Monday to Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm) or email [email protected] for more information about volunteering with this ministry.
